Dock Diving is a dog sport where a dog. runs along a stretch and leaps as far as they can into a pool. As you can see here there are measurements along the sides of the pool to measure how far your dog has jumped.
This is one of the. beginning. sessions that we had with Tsygan and we started him off with a life jacket.

Competing:
There are quite a few organizations that let you compete in dock diving! Here are a few:
NADD is the only AKC recognized organization for dock diving.
NADD host three different events:
- Distance
- Air Retrieve
- Hydro Dash
Dock Dogs is another organization that hosts events but they are not recognized by the AKC.
They host many different types of events including:
- Big Air
- Extreme Vertical
- Speed. Retrieve
- Dealing Dogs
- Iron Dog
