What is Bikejoring?
Bikejoring is a dog sport where dogs run ahead of a bicycle, pulling the rider using specialized gear. It is a sort of dog sledding over dry land in all seasons. Usually only one or two dogs are ahead of the bike. I personally have two dogs that run ahead of me. Having two dogs can be a great way to teach a new dog the ropes. While fundamentals are important and should be trained before getting in front of a bike, a new dog can learn a lot from a dog that already knows what they are doing.
This is our first setup. Nothing special, just the basics. We upgrade as we go!
