Carla with FluentDog Training is located in Urbana MD. She is a NePoPo Gold School Graduate, meaning that she is an expert in motivation and she regularly helps clients find ways to fulfill their dogs’ natural drives. We first met when I was having anxiety issues with Chase my 12-year-old GSP at the time. Carla was a great connection and helped me feel less alone when I had no idea what was overcoming my dog. She also helped me with my current dog Laika and is the one who told me that Laika’s reactivity might get better if she had a job. This opened the door for me into the world of dog sports. Whether you are facing anxiety, reactivity or anything in between Carla can show you what is truly possible and it’s probably way more than you think!
Lela with Fitnacity is located in Knoxville MD, just west of Frederick MD. She has been a dog trainer for over 14 years and holds group classes that can be entryways into dog sports. She is approachable and will help you find venues that suite what you are looking for. She is a Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer (CPCFT) who offers some unique dog fitness classes that support dogs while they are doing sports. When she is not training others, you can find her competing in Rally, Conformation, Scent work, Happy Ratters, and Fast CAT. She also dabbles in Agility, Lure Coursing and Barn Hunt. We first met when I was taking Laika for puppy classes and then we started our sports journey adding a scent work and obedience class with her!
